Joint Venture wins $8.2m civil and earthworks contract at Monty - June 2017

Centrals and our Joint Venture Partner the Yugunga-Nya People — which formed a JV in 2015 called Yagahong Alliance, has now been awarded its second contract with Sandfire Resources. The $8.2 million civil and earthworks contract on the Monty project, is a joint venture between Sandfire Resources (70 per cent) and Talisman Mining (30 per cent). Centrals win State Aboriginal Engagement Award - February 2017

 

Centrals, one of WA’s leading earthmoving, mining and civil contractors, was awarded the 2016 Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) WA Branch Aboriginal Engagement Award at the annual CCF’s WA President’s Industry and Training Awards held at the Crown Grand Ballroom on Friday, February 17.

Centrals was recognised in particular for their exceptional record in supporting Aboriginal people within the Mid West and Murchison regions of Western Australia. The award acknowledges a company that displays an outstanding commitment towards the areas of Aboriginal engagement and employment. CCF WA CEO Jeff Miller said Centrals were a most deserving winner of the 2016 CCF WA Aboriginal Engagement Award.

CENTRALS AWARDED FEDERAL SAFETY ACCREDITATION - December 2016

Centrals are very pleased to announce that on the 20th December it achieved accreditation under the Australian Government Building and construction WHS Accreditation Scheme. 

Centrals will be one of less than 420 Companies Australia wide to have Federal Safety accreditation. This is a significant milestone in being recognised for our quality and safety systems.
